NAACP Scholarship Deadline Extended

The Alachua County Branch of the NAACP proudly welcomes Santa Fe College (SF) students to apply for a $4,000 scholarship. 
 
This scholarship is for those who have graduated from an Alachua County public high school AND are currently pursuing a career in Education through studies at Santa Fe College.   The scholarship will provide $2,000 for the spring 2019 semester AND $2,000 for either the summer 2019 semester or the fall 2019 semester.  All applicants must complete an essay titled, “The Importance of Racial Equity in Education.”
The selected recipient must attend the Annual NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 6pm in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, where he/she will be recognized.
