“Moving for Health” Virtual Competition!

“Moving for Health: Every Step Counts” is a six-week virtual competition to encourage activities promoting good health, team building, and fun interactions among Santa Fe College students.

Description automatically generatedHow it Works: Each individual’s steps as well as the average number of steps for each team will be tracked during the competition using smartphones, fitness watches, or manual entries on the MoveSpring app. Every week, the top three students with the highest number of steps will be awarded prizes.

There will also be friendly team competitions. The number of steps per individuals and average number of steps per team will be updated in real time, and participants will have access to this information.

When it Starts:

The competition will begin on Monday, October 26 at 12:01 a.m. Students will be able to join the event up until the last week of the competition.
